Behind the Scenes
Last week was a nice distraction playing with AI Images. While I am still not talented enough to quit my day job and plagiarize AI art as my own, I was reminded of why I love what I do.
In a lot of settings Productivity and Architecture contribute to either healthy outcomes both for the client and for the development team, or it can be the reason the product is delayed and costs have gone high.
With that said, since I did not graduate from college with a degree related to software (and honestly, I type less well than most first graders), I crave systems and tools that help empower my success and limit the effects of my deficits. Interestingly, your end users want the same things.
Part of the motivation and design for the tools I create is to allow people to intuitively do more with less effort. Most users are not power users and do not want thousands of knobs. Most users want to give a word prompt to an AI and get magical results that match their intent. When AI gets to this point....run!
But, until AI gets to this point, it is up to us to help customers describe what they really need and to help simplify the process so that things a user "always" or "often" does are baked into a solution.
In Resalient CMS, I do not ask if you want the social media preview, I give you the tools to quickly make an article with just the fields you need to quickly connect with your customers, and the system automatically generates the preview you clicked to get here.
What are some other things needing simplification in your CMS or CRM systems?
