Admittedly, I do not have a use-case for this feature within my sphere as an IT solutions developer/architect. A salesman who has been challenging me to step up my game had been describing a series of scenarios where his sales manger would schedule his day without consulting him or a map.
The result of this had been that the manager purposefully placed two-hour windows after expected end of appointments in case her reps had to drive from Baltimore, MD, to Manassas, VA. The idea of letting the customer pick based on his or her convenience may sound right to many; however, if your sales rep winds up with a lot of dead time, this courtesy to the potential customer creates pockets of time too short for the rep to get ahead on other tasks but too long to merely drive to the next location.
So, while the feature is not done, I imagine a solution where tasks are mapped and the your team is able to schedule with the potential customers to create an experience that maximizes productivity while still respecting the time of everyone involved.
When I merge this with the Tasks module, I will post an update.
